I was appointed as a Consultant Gynaecologist at University College Hospital, London in 1997. My interest is in minimal access surgery and its application in endometriosis, fibroids, urogynaecology and paediatric and adolescent gynaecology.

I am a past chair of the British society of Urogynaecology and and a past president of The British Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy. I run one of the only BSGE accredited private endometriosis centre in London ( at The Edward VII’s Hospital Endometriosis Centre). This service offers the highest level of care to women with severe endometriosis in a multidisciplinary setup.

I led the development of two of  the national laparoscopic training programmes: advanced laparoscopic surgery for endometriosis and urogynaecology. I have a major interest in teaching laparoscopic surgery and have lectured widely both nationally and internationally. I have also demonstrated surgical techniques in several countries and have run many surgical master-classes. Read my full CV here.
