I was appointed as a Consultant Gynaecologist at University College Hospital, London in 1997. My interest is in minimal access surgery and its application in endometriosis, fibroids, urogynaecology and paediatric and adolescent gynaecology.
I am a past chair of the British society of Urogynaecology and and a past president of The British Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy. I run one of the only BSGE accredited private endometriosis centre in London (Gynaecology.co at The Edward VII’s Hospital Endometriosis Centre). This service offers the highest level of care to women with severe endometriosis in a multidisciplinary setup.
I led the development of two of the national laparoscopic training programmes: advanced laparoscopic surgery for endometriosis and urogynaecology. I have a major interest in teaching laparoscopic surgery and have lectured widely both nationally and internationally. I have also demonstrated surgical techniques in several countries and have run many surgical master-classes. Read my full CV here.
